Return-to-Work Activation

The missing step between
sign-off and back to work.

Curaltura is a clinically governed return-to-work activation service. After assessment, we help people rebuild routine, confidence and connection through community activity matched to them — and we measure what happens, all the way to a sustained return to work.

The gap
Phased return, adjustments and counselling handle the medical side well. The social side — isolation, lost confidence, a life on hold — has few governed places to refer into.
Our role
We deliver the re-engagement that occupational health reports recommend but rarely deliver: matched community activity, weekly support, measured outcomes.
The evidence
Validated return-to-work and wellbeing measurement, built in from the first referral — not bolted on afterwards.
What Curaltura is

A delivery layer, not another platform.

Clinicians assess and advise. We take the part that's hardest to deliver and easiest to lose — actually getting someone re-engaged with routine, activity and people on the way back to work.

You refer in; we deliver and measure; you get the outcomes back. Curaltura complements phased return, reasonable adjustments and clinical rehabilitation — it doesn't replace them.

A clinically governed service. Clinicians retain clinical responsibility; we are the supported re-engagement step in between.
How it works

Four steps, from referral to a measured return.

01

Refer in

Your clinician identifies who is suitable and safe to take part. They act as the triage gate; we take it from there.

02

Match

A "what matters to you" conversation, then a community activity matched to the person — movement, nature, volunteering, social or creative — from a curated directory.

03

Support

A coach supports them through a ten-week pathway: weekly contact, gentle accountability and real-world re-engagement.

04

Measure

Validated measures at start, end and follow-up — return-to-work self-efficacy, work ability, function and wellbeing — plus time-to-return and sustained return at 90 days.

Most people return to work eventually. Our job is to bring that return forward — and to prove that it happened.
Who it's for

Medically stable, but not yet re-engaged.

People on long-term absence with stress and burnout, anxiety, low mood, musculoskeletal pain, fatigue or Long COVID, or recovering from cancer or cardiac events — who are medically stable but have lost routine, confidence and connection.

We work alongside occupational health providers, income protection insurers and employers.

If the gap we describe is one you see, let's talk.

Curaltura is in its pilot phase. We're working with occupational health providers, insurers and employers to run founder-led pilots — proving engagement first, then a sustained return to work. A short, exploratory conversation is the best place to start.
